Just over a week until we start!

With the first race, the 5k Bramhall Parkrun just over a week away on Saturday, 8th February, you’re running out of time to get in the chance of scoring some early points in this year’s inaugural Championship. We currently have over 20 entrants for the male and female Championships and would love to have a few more. If you haven’t entered yet, please register your interest here on the race calender page here. As well as raising money for charity – with the £10 entry fees being split between the favourite charities of the male and female champions – there’s a Presentation Evening at the end of the Championship in November at which the male and female Championship winners will be presented with their trophies. If there are three of you from your company entered, then you also stand a chance of winning the team trophy. This is an opportunity to network with fellow NW finance professionals, have some fun and raise some money for charity. For those who are competitive, there’s also a trophy to be won for best male, female and team at the end of the Championship – I expect to be battling for the wooden spoon at the other end of the table!
